Paragon Robotics, LLC was officially founded in January 2006. Development of the PR9 product line has been ongoing since 2003 under private financing by our founder.
Our company was founded on the principle of "vertical knowledge integration". In other words, we feel it is imperative to understand every aspect of the automation business in order to provide the highest level of engineering. From dynamic control theory all the way down to circuit board layout and embedded software programming, we know you can't design revolutionary products without understanding how every part work together. We feel our PR9 product line exemplifies how this underlying principle can create revolutionary products which can change the industry.
Our official headquarters is in Pittsboro, NC, about 15 miles W of Raleigh, NC. Paragon Robotics, LLC is an "ultra-lean" company, and currently has no active office. All of our employees are video linked together to create a virtual office environment for seamless productivity. Not only does this give our employees the most flexibility in their schedule, it helps conserve natural resources and ultimately allows us to pass the savings in overhead on to our customers. We want to go beyond providing revolutionary products and services and show we can revolutionize the way an engineering business can operate as well. We are currently evaluating a possible opening of a prototyping facility in Q4/2008 after the initial launch of our PR9 line.
